| About myself |
I love dancing. I'm fascinated by art. I enjoy reading, listening to good music, eating Indian food, Thai food, and sushi, and drinking red wine. I dig movies. I try to catch indie flicks at The Broadway whenever possible. I really enjoy hiking in our gorgeous canyons. I love my work. It's very fulfilling to me. I am a Speech-Language Pathologist, working in public schools. I have a Master's degree, and plan to someday earn a Ph.D. I have taught courses in my area of expertise, and would love to teach at a University. I'm drawn to people who have the ability to be introspective... people who lead a life with purpose, rather than simply living a task-based, uninspired existence...living life authentically. I don't hold onto grudges (for long), and I value empathy in others. I have a hard time being around arrogance, intolerance, & indignance; basically, people with long laundry lists of pet peeves. Too much energy is wasted when we focus on the negative. I think people are much better off when they give each other the benefit of the doubt, in all areas of life. If I begin dating someone I'm interested in, I like to focus solely on him, and pursue a potential relationship. I don't like to overlap, and I don't want to be with someone who does; I've found this to be a mismatch in the past. I prefer to date someone who knows what he wants, and is willing to take risks for what could develop into a long-term relationship. Integrity and dedication are very important to me: Do what you say; say what you mean. |
